Sometimes umbra instances get stuck without completely dying. On systemd deployments we can use the Watchdog and sdnotify to automatically restart umbra whenever it fails to ping sdnotify for
WatchdogSec. sdnotify fails silently on non-systemd deployments, so we don't need to gate this as an optional dependency.I also did a ruff pass, breaking this work into two commits to make it easy to see the sdnotify changes.
