💡 What: Refactored for item in tree.get_children(): tree.delete(item) across desktop_tabs/ to use tree.delete(*tree.get_children()) and added explanatory comments.
🎯 Why: Iterating over items and calling delete incurs a large overhead due to multiple boundary crossings between Python and Tcl. Batch deletion resolves this in a single operation.
📊 Impact: Reduces Tcl boundary crossings from $O(N)$ to $O(1)$ when clearing any Treeview. This is specifically visible and impactful for large lists like directory listings, active windows, and results datasets.
🔬 Measurement: Verify by executing python scripts/manifest_consistency_check.py --no-screenshot-check and monitoring performance during UI refreshes under load.

PR created automatically by Jules for task 1567368880837209002 started by @agno7766

Refactored multiple `.get_children()` loops across `desktop_tabs/`
to use the much faster unpacking approach `tree.delete(*tree.get_children())`.
This avoids making `N` separate Tcl calls, resolving the operation in a single step.
