Ingimar Eyfjörð Smárason

Full-Stack Developer • Data-Heavy Systems • DevOps & Cloud • Human-Centered Engineering

I build secure, scalable and well-designed software with a focus on end-to-end product thinking. For the past 5+ years, I’ve delivered full-stack platforms, governed data pipelines, cloud-based workflows and internal developer tooling across startups and large enterprise environments.

My background spans React, Node.js/Express, Python/Django, PHP/Laravel, SQL/NoSQL, Dockerized deployments, IaC, and data governance in regulated industries. I’m collaborative by nature, enjoy reviewing code, shaping architecture, and turning complex requirements into clear and maintainable systems.

I was recently part of the Novo Nordisk layoffs, so I’m available immediately for roles in full-stack, backend, platform engineering, or solutions architecture.
