HelmForge is committed to providing a friendly, safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for everyone who participates in the project.
Project participants are expected to:
- use welcoming and inclusive language
- respect differing viewpoints and experiences
- accept constructive feedback gracefully
- focus on what is best for the project and its users
- show empathy toward other community members
Unacceptable behavior includes:
- harassment, intimidation, or discrimination in any form
- sexualized language or imagery
- personal attacks, insults, or sustained disruption
- publishing private information without explicit permission
- behavior that would reasonably make another participant feel unsafe or unwelcome
This Code of Conduct applies to all HelmForge project spaces, including:
- GitHub repositories, issues, pull requests, discussions, and reviews
- project documentation and website contributions
- chat, calls, events, and other community spaces operated by the project
- public communication where someone is clearly representing HelmForge
If you experience or witness unacceptable behavior, report it to the project maintainers:
- email: berlofa@helmforge.dev
- alternate email: maicon.berloffa@gmail.com
- private vulnerability or sensitive project report: https://github.com/helmforgedev/charts/security/advisories/new
Reports should include as much context as you are comfortable sharing, such as links, screenshots, timestamps, involved accounts, and a description of the impact.
Maintainers will handle reports privately, avoid unnecessary disclosure, and take action proportionate to the situation.
Maintainers may take any action they deem appropriate to protect the community, including:
- privately warning a participant
- asking for changes in language or behavior
- moderating, hiding, or deleting comments
- closing or locking issues, pull requests, or discussions
- temporarily or permanently limiting participation in project spaces
- escalating to hosting platforms or relevant community programs when needed
Maintainers who are personally involved in a report should recuse themselves from enforcement decisions when possible.
HelmForge uses the CNCF Code of Conduct as a reference for community expectations and intends to align with CNCF community standards as part of its Sandbox application process.
