This gadget is created to make accessing to featured posts faster and easier, and you can call the widget on anywhere on your web pages.
How it works
By adding "Featured Posts Loader" Widget to you website, you mark "Featured on WP Engine's blog" checkbox of the posts that you need them be known as featured, and then 5 recent of those posts will be shown by the widget.
Installation
- Download the plugin file, unzip and place it in your wp-content/plugins/ folder. You can alternatively upload it via the WordPress plugin backend.
- Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
- Widget "Featured Posts Loader" will appear in Dashboard->Appearance->Widgets.
