Hi Hi! I'm Gabrielle

Data nerd by day, shrimp mom by night 🦐

I am a Data Science Master's student at UC San Diego with a multidisciplinary background spanning microbiology, film, and digital media. I love turning messy data into stories that actually make sense — think interactive visualizations, dashboards, and the occasional "wow, that's actually cool" moment.

My film background fuels my passion for visual data storytelling because data deserves good narratives too.

A little about me:

  • Former QC Analyst who made the leap into data science
  • Artist at heart! I love to draw in my free time
  • Proud keeper of shrimp aquariums (yes, they have personalities)
  • Learned my first HTML on Neopets.com (IYKYK)
  • Passionate about visual data storytelling
