이동 약자, 특히 휠체어 사용자들에게는 이용 가능한 경로와 시설에 대한 제약이 있는 것이 현실이며, 이동에 있어 한계에 직면합니다. 다행히도 실외 환경에서는 지도 앱과 내비게이션 앱, 거리뷰 등을 통해 사전에 구체적인 정보를 얻을 수 있습니다. 하지만 실내 공간에서는 상황이 다릅니다.
실내 지도 앱과 내비게이션 앱이 존재하는 경우에도, 턱이나 경사로, 통로의 폭 등 이동 약자에게 중요한 정보를 제공하지 않는 경우가 대부분입니다. 심지어 지도 앱과 내비게이션 자체가 존재하지 않는 실내 공간도 많습니다. 결국 이동 약자들은 직접 그 장소를 방문하여 경험해 보기 전까지는 잠재적 위험 요소나 장애물을 사전에 파악할 방법이 없는 것입니다.
이러한 문제 인식 하에, 저희는 이동 약자들의 실내 이동을 돕기 위한 프로젝트를 진행하게 되었습니다.
Mobility-impaired individuals, especially wheelchair users, face limitations in accessible routes and facilities. Fortunately, in outdoor environments, they can obtain detailed information in advance through map apps, navigation apps, and street views. However, the situation is different in indoor spaces. Even when indoor map apps and navigation apps exist, they often fail to provide crucial information for mobility-impaired users, such as the presence of thresholds, ramps, or the width of passageways. In many cases, indoor spaces lack map apps and navigation altogether. As a result, mobility-impaired individuals have no way to identify potential hazards or obstacles before personally visiting and experiencing the location. Recognizing this issue, we are working on a project to help the mobility impaired move indoors.
- 프로젝트 main 브랜치에서 다운받기.
- android studio 설치 및 열기.
- File 바 > New > import project... 순으로 버튼을 클릭하여 다운 받은 폴더 실행. (프로젝트 뷰 설정이 'android'인 경우 'project'로 변경.
- 안드로이드 연결. (주의❗API level이 33 이상인지 확인할 것, 안드로이드 버전이 최소 7.1 이상인지 확인할 것)
