About big project progress:

• Great intro slides. Nice background info.
• You guys are student athletes - def mention that in the intro since related!
• I know it's a lot of work to clean the data, but you can go fast there :)
• Nice correlation table by year! Should add sample size per year in that table too.
• z-score is a nice idea to see the distribution. Who are outliers? Both on the positive and negative side?
• Some of the graphs are a little hard to read. It's usually ok to be an artist when it comes to viz. Feel free to just color everything same, then zoom in and highlight teams incrementally in your slides etc. r/dataisbeautiful can also have some useful ideas.
• Great ethics discussion.
• Think about what modeling you will pursue for your final presentation. Predict salaries? How much performance 1 additional $ would earn you back? Linear reg should be enough for this. I think it makes sense to focus on player level prediction. If you have time, building a dashboard would be fun too.
