RCONFIG variable needs config.r at the end of the file path in config.example.r

How can the bug be reproduced?

Do you mean that you want this line in config.example.txt:

export RCONFIG=/path/to/Rconfig

to read:

export RCONFIG=/path/to/config.r

instead?
