Hello, thank you for the contribution. This is a useful feature, but we discussed it and think that the default behavior should remain as before. Could you edit the PR to make keeping usernames optional? |

Hello everyone,
I would like to suggest a feature that allows the user names to be preserved optionally. This means usernames are not anonymised when they are suspended.
Preserving user names ensures that no new user with an identical user name is created while a user with this user name has already been suspended. The user name is anonymised by the deletion process when it is later deleted.
To keep the usernames the admin setting
suspendusernameshould remain empty.Kind regards,
