ICARUS — Laboratory (Archived)

Author: Luis Javier Carrasco Pérez
ORCID: https://orcid.org/0009-0008-7607-546X
License: CC BY-SA 4.0
Status: LABORATORY — CLOSED

Canonical Record

The complete, authoritative record of the ICARUS structural framework is archived on Zenodo:

ICARUS — Structural Framework of Regulation (Complete Canonical Package)
https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18136627

This DOI contains:

  • the final formal paper (ICARUS+E+R+M: Structural Emergence of Meaning and the Formal Limit of Architecture),
  • the ontological manual fixing the canonical interpretation,
  • the canonical README.

All conceptual development of ICARUS is closed and finalized in that record.

Scope of This Repository

This repository contains historical laboratory-level prototypes derived from the ICARUS closed-cycle homeostatic architecture.

The code is:

  • experimental
  • non-production
  • intended exclusively for technical analysis of internal dynamics, stability, and control mechanisms

This repository does not define, extend, or modify the ICARUS framework.

What This Repository Is

  • Laboratory prototypes only
  • Technical exploration of dynamical systems and control properties
  • Historical reference for implementation-level analysis

What This Repository Is Not

  • Not a cognitive model
  • Not a theory of consciousness
  • Not an active conceptual laboratory
  • Not an extension of ICARUS beyond its published limits

Contents

  • PyTorch laboratory prototypes derived from ICARUS v0.3
  • Experimental variants corresponding to laboratory hypotheses v0.4C
  • Reference implementations related to SOR (Second-Order Regulation)

Relationship to ICARUS DOIs

The work in this repository is conceptually and structurally derived from the following Zenodo records:

These implementations do not supersede or reinterpret the canonical ICARUS framework.

Collaboration

ICARUS is open to technical collaboration focused on:

  • implementation-level work

  • simulation

  • stability and attractor analysis

  • technical validation of already published laboratory hypotheses

The architecture and hypotheses are closed and published with DOI. Collaboration is limited to implementation and technical analysis. Note: Core conceptual documentation of ICARUS is written in Spanish; fluent comprehension is required for meaningful technical collaboration. Initial contact via email: dogus0@hotmail.com

Status

This repository is preserved for reference purposes.

  • Conceptual development: CLOSED
  • Architectural extensions: NOT PERMITTED
  • Implementation analysis: Allowed
  • Interpretative authority: Zenodo canonical DOI

License

This repository follows the same licensing terms as the associated Zenodo records. See the corresponding DOI pages for full license details.

About

Laboratory implementations and experimental variants derived from the ICARUS closed-cycle homeostatic architecture. Includes PyTorch laboratory prototypes corresponding to ICARUS v0.4C hypotheses for technical evaluation. No claims of consciousness or final implementation. Laboratory v0.4C (frozen)
