I use the term "we" alot in these docs, at the moment it is just me (mhornbacher) after hours and on weekends. We is generally more neutral language and avoids having to re-write all these documents if anyone joins me.

Dog Dating App is being built for boarders, walkers, trainers, and sitters who want to spend less time on admin and more time with animals. And if we ever disappear, your data and your software go with you, not us.
Honestly, because it is an app for dogs scheduling their dates. And we find it funny. And the world could use just a little more humor in it.
📶 Offline first Your pets don't stop needing help when the phone company is having a bad day. Dog Dating App will keep working, in your browser and on your phone without internet and sync when you're back online.
🗓️ Dynamic scheduling & smart planning Animals are animals, some of them are scared, some of them don't like each other and all of them are pure chaos. Your software should be able to warn you when two incompatible dogs book and adjust your schedule on the fly as the chaos ensues.
🧾 Advanced invoicing Deposits, discounts, packages — and you connect your own payment processor. No middleman taking a cut of every transaction. (Well, other than them)
📱 Modern client app A clean, fast, offline-first experience your clients will actually enjoy using for bookings, updates, and photos of their pets.
🔓 Truly open Licensed under the Functional Source License and converting to Apache 2.0 after two years. If we ever go out of business or abandon the project anyone with the skills, (or time and determination) can pick up where we left off.

Dog Dating App is source-available under the Functional Source License (FSL). All versions convert to Apache 2.0 two years after release.
