Essential tools for working with Media in After Effects.
- Version up and down CompItems and FootageItems.
- Search and Replace in Item names.
- Add a Prefix or Suffix to Item names.
- Apply settings to multiple CompItems at once.
- Copy and Paste CompItem settings.
- Includes scripts using the MediaBelt library so you can easily bind keyboard shortcuts.
- Open the Windows menu and launched the
MediaBelt.jsxpanel. - Dock the panel wherever you like. For convenience, dock it near the Project Panel!
All tools in the MediaBelt apply to each selected Comp and Footage Item in the Project Panel. Each operation has a dedicated row, making it easy to apply fine-grained changes.
- Open the Keyboard Shortcuts dialog in AE.
- Search for MediaBelt.
- Bind hotkeys to any of the exposed commands from the library.

- Download the latest release of MediaBelt.
- Unzip the contents of the Scripts folder into your AE Scripts folder.
