BSc(Hons) Mathematics Thesis - Image Classification with Convolutional Neural Networks

This repo contains the following:

• ImageClassificationwithCNNs.pdf: The main document.
• MNISTNetwork.ipynb: A Jupyter Notebook containing a CNN modelled on the MNIST dataset, benchmarking at >98% accuracy.
• FacialRecognitionCNN: A facial recognition model was developed using augmentation techniques on poor quality input data. The model benchmarked at ~94% accuracy.
• FaceImages.zip: The collection of images used in the FR Network file (open-sourced)

This repo and it's contents aren't actively maintained.
