Description

This Pull Request updates the Material Clock plasmoid to support specific time zone selection, allowing it to function as a proper World Clock. Users can now select their desired time zone from the configuration menu, and the clock will accurately display the time for that region.

Changes

  • Time Zone Logic: Implemented manual time shifting in main.qml to correctly calculate and display the remote time based on the selected time zone and local system time.
  • Configuration: Updated GeneralConfig.qml with a comprehensive list of global time zones (UTC-12 to UTC+14), including references to major cities and offsets.
  • Clean Up: Removed debugging artifacts (console logs and on-screen debug text).
  • Metadata: Bumped package version to 0.0.5.

Verification

I have verified that selecting different time zones (e.g., UTC, New York, Tokyo) correctly updates the clock display respecting the offsets relative to the local system time.
