👋 Hi, I’m Camila

Technical Program Manager specializing in localization and internationalization, with 2+ years of hands-on engineering experience and 10+ years in program leadership. I build high-impact services and delightful user experiences, with a strong focus on reliability, performance, and scalability.

Currently upskilling in low-level computer science and C programming at 42 School (Paris) to deepen my systems-level foundations.

💡 What I Build

I’m passionate about building:

  • Reliable backend services (APIs, infrastructure, automation)
  • Scalable l10n & i18n systems (workflows, libraries, scripts, automations)
  • High-quality, accessible front-end experiences (React/TypeScript)
  • Data-driven engineering workflows (monitoring, observability, CI/CD)

🧠 Core Strengths (What I Bring to The Table)

Strength Experience
Fullstack Engineering Experience Node.js, Python, Ruby, C, PHP, GraphQL, SQL, AWS
Localization & i18n Built workflows and infrastructure for multilingual products
Systems thinking Currently strengthening low-level fundamentals with C
Reliability & observability Sentry, Datadog, PagerDuty, CI/CD pipelines
Leadership & execution 10+ years leading technical programs and cross-functional teams

🚀 Professional Experience (Highlights)

Revyze (2024–2025) — Software Engineer

  • Built front-end and backend features using React Native, Expo, TypeScript, Python, and GraphQL.
  • Led QA, beta releases, performance monitoring, and bug hunting.
  • Refactored and stabilized legacy code to improve reliability and scalability.

Skillshare (2023–2024) — Software Engineer

  • Built scalable backend services supporting content delivery, licensing, and localization workflows.
  • Worked with Node.js, PHP, GraphQL, SQL, Prisma, AWS, Terraform.
  • Built UI components and design system tooling with React and TypeScript.
  • Led sprint planning, QA, and monitoring in CI/CD environments.

Skillshare (2024- 2025) — Senior Technical Program Manager (Localization)

  • Designed localization pipeline from scratch to accelerate international releases (4 new markets in 9 months)
  • Delivered i18n tooling and bug fixes directly through code contributions.
  • Built an international culture and established cross-team standards for localization quality and collaboration.

AssessFirst (2020–2021) — Localization Manager

  • Built localization tooling and automation scripts to improve quality and accelarate delivery.
  • Overhauled our vendor list and implemented strict standards to ensure full alignment with partners.
  • Implemented new workflows with state-of-the-art tools to accelerate time-to-market, increase consistency and improve user experience.

Ultimate Software (2018–2020) — Senior Localization Manager

  • Managed localization operations across 10+ products, releasing 17 new locales over two years.
  • Implemented industry standards for all product lines to ensure consistent localization delivery
  • Improved client satisfaction with international experience and ensured clients with multi-million dollar recurring revenue were retained.

⭐ Featured 42 Projects (Tier 1)

These projects are part of my ongoing C training at 42 School. They demonstrate foundational systems skills like memory management, IPC, concurrency, and algorithmic optimization.

  • so_long — State-driven rendering + cross-platform build
  • libft — Core C utility library (memory + API design)
  • get_next_line — Buffered I/O + stateful streaming
  • ft_printf — Format parsing + serialization
  • minitalk — IPC via signals (custom protocol + reliability)
  • push_swap — Cost-based algorithm optimization
  • philosophers — Concurrency and synchronization
  • minishell — Parsing, process control, shell basics

📌 What I’m Looking For

I’m actively exploring TPM, solutions engineering and backend roles where I can leverage:

  • global strategic vision
  • program/team leadership
  • platform engineering + API design
  • localization and internationalization infrastructure
  • systems-level engineering (performance, reliability)
