Minecraft-Log-Viewer

View your Minecraft Logs easier, to make solving issues faster!

So you get a "Error Code 1" in your Minecraft Modpack that you made.

And you know that when you look at the logs (link to show you how to solve error code 1), you see all this text:

But you want to be able to (mostly) easily be able to find out what is causing what issue. And you want to solve it without haveing to zoom in REEAAAL close to be able to read litterally anything.

With the Minecraft Log Viewer (XML File), your Minecraft Modpack logs file will look like this instead (inside of Notepad++ only):

This Log Viewer XML File (currently) ONLY works in Notepad++.

Select the Version at the top right under the Header Downloads

How to instal and Set up the Minecraft Log Viewer inside your Notepad++!!

Step 1 - Inside of Notepad++ go to the tab of the Text file (or open the text file inside of Notepad++)

Step 2 - Go to the Language drop down menu

Step 3 - Go all the way down to the User Defined Language drop down menu inside of the Language drop down menu.

Step 4 - Select Define your language

You will see the following screen open.

Step 5 - Press Import

Step 6 - Select Minecraft Console Log.xml

Step 7 - In the Drop down menu select Minecraft Console Log

Step 8 - Save As, Save this as something... Literally name it anything you will remember it as.

Step 9 - If you didn't name it as what it's already named, close the User Defined language.

You will open the Language Drop Down menu and at the very bottom Select what you named it as (as stated in Step 8)

If everything was Correct, your Minecraft Log File will look something like this:

How to Download Minecraft Console Log.xml!

For those of you whom have never had the opportunity to use github before, here is how you download literaly anything on github.

Step 1 - Go to the releases part of this Github page

Step 2 - Press the Latest version

Step 3 - Press the first link (most times), in this case it is the first link.

And save it to your computer. Remember where you saved it, because in this tutorial above me, you have to import that .xml file into Notepad++.
