Set up your computing environment, by following the
cocalc_manual.pdf. -
Download IGV from http://software.broadinstitute.org/software/igv/download
NOTE: IGV is a pre-built binary that runs on Java. You should already have Java installed on your system. In case it's not installed/updated (error while executing IGV), please visit the Java download page and install Java.
Running IGV can be simply started (without installation) by double-clicking on the downloaded file for MAC and linux. For, windows, we can install the file using .exe file and execute it from the "programs" menu.
