This repository contains the official client SDKs and an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server for integrating Prompt Inspector into your applications and AI agents.

The MCP server exposes Prompt Inspector's detection capability as an MCP (Model Context Protocol) tool named detect. It is built on FastMCP + FastAPI and uses SSE (Server-Sent Events) transport, making it compatible with:
- VS Code (GitHub Copilot / Copilot Chat)
- Cursor
- Claude Desktop
- Dify
- Any other MCP-capable client

Authentication is handled at the transport layer. Every MCP client connection must supply a valid App API Key via:
X-App-Key: <key>request header, orAuthorization: Bearer <key>header

The Prompt Inspector Agent Skill provides a command-line interface for AI agents (OpenClaw, Claude Code, etc.) to detect prompt injection attacks directly from their environment.
