Outcome

Closes the bounded ACE 0.8B runtime realignment by freezing new direct dependencies on the deprecated MAKE/SHIP-era arms, Living Product Graph compatibility projection, and broad engine MCP host.

Changes

  • adds explicit allowlists for existing compatibility callers
  • fails the ownership suite if any deprecated surface gains a new direct caller
  • records that B1–B3 now satisfy the bounded runtime ownership packet
  • preserves historical code and evidence while preventing dependency growth
  • reproduces the cumulative builder, activation, Watch, AM3 recall, and AM4 lifecycle path

Evidence

  • cumulative runtime/ownership/builder/activation/memory gate: 69 passed
  • real AM3 later-use and AM4 erasure non-reappearance restart checks: 2 passed
  • Ruff and git diff --check: passed

Compatibility and rollback

This is a guardrail, not deletion. Existing compatibility callers remain unchanged and callable. No API, stored record, schema, Domain Pack, adapter, provider, MCP inventory, or historical evidence changes. Reverting the commit removes the freeze without rewriting state.

Checklist

  • No private data, credentials, proprietary fixtures, or private-extension code
  • No domain code copied into Core
  • Exact eleven-tool public MCP surface unchanged
  • Existing compatibility paths preserved
  • Restart and boundary evidence passed

Part of #40. Landing this closes 0.8B and unblocks the 0.8C unified intelligence resource plane.
