Algofy

Algofy is a LeetCode-style coding platform. Write JavaScript solutions to algorithmic problems and get instant feedback — submissions are queued, run in isolated Docker containers, and judged against test cases with per-test verdicts (AC / WA / TLE / RTE).

Solution code for each problem is available in the solutions/ directory.

Prerequisites

Redis — used as the job queue broker (BullMQ).

docker run -d -p 6379:6379 redis

Docker — used by the worker to run submitted code in sandboxed containers. Make sure Docker Desktop is running, then pull the required image:

docker pull node:20-alpine

Running the project

Each service runs independently. Open a terminal for each.

Frontend

cd frontend
npm install
npm run dev

Backend

cd backend
npm install
npm run dev

Worker

cd worker
npm install
node worker.js
