AltmanAI (by Altman Family Group LLC) is a Pittsburgh, PA human-first AI R&D company building practical AI products and the public proof infrastructure behind them. This repo is the map: what we're building, why, in what order, and how every other repo in the ecosystem connects.

- Code — build the product (DailyPilot, and the pipeline behind it: Sophia, EvidenceOS, ReleaseShield)
- Measure — every meaningful build/decision generates a Save-Receipt JSON with a SHA-256 hash
- Prove — receipts land in the Master Ledger, a public, auditable registry
- Scale — AINet coordinates artifacts/ledgers/agents into one connected system; Impact Explorer makes it browsable by anyone

Founding/canonical artifacts (the Charter, minted PAIHI records, registry hashes) are frozen and amended only through addendum, RFC, or versioned amendment files — never rewritten in place. Major governance or identity-level changes require explicit founder approval ("All Clear for Impact") before merging to main. See .github/GOVERNANCE.md for the full policy.
