- Apply modular structure throughout leaf_mask script.
- Validate geometric parameters when using leaf masks as well as bounding boxes.
- Add test of bounding boxes.

As discussed, I prefer to have a single function for both -- mask and validation switched over the possible literals. Shape primitives are pretty much covered with the current implementation.
