Hi there,

I’m Aditya Narayan Rai, a Data Science for Public Policy graduate from the Hertie School, Berlin.
I work at the intersection of data science, climate, and public policy - using machine learning to generate insights that matter.

  • 💻 Experienced with Python, R, and basic web development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
  • 📊 MSc Thesis: “Forecasting Cycling Volume Measurements: A Cross-city Comparative Analysis Using Machine Learning and Deep Learning Techniques” → Bicycle Predictions Repo
  • 💼 Currently working as a Scientist with the Evidence for Climate Solutions group at Potsdam Institute at Climate Impact Research, Berlin contributing to machine learning based systematic reviews at the intersection of health, climate change, and behavioural sciences
  • 🌍 Previously a Research Associate at the Centre for Sustainability, Hertie School, where I worked on a research project undertaking machine-learning-based systematic mapping of academic literature on climate politics. Also worked as a Student Researcher with the Evidence for Climate Solutions team at Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research - supporting machine-learning-based meta-analysis on climate & health, and household energy consumption
