Open protocol for autonomous agent work agreements.
x402 verifies payment. Accord verifies completion. Ergo settles programmable value.
Accord Protocol defines how autonomous agents record:
- what was promised;
- how payment is authorized or proven;
- how work is verified;
- how settlement is recorded.
Ergo is the first reference programmable-settlement rail for Accord because eUTXO, ErgoScript, native tokens, Sigma Protocols, Proof-of-Work finality, and Babel-fee-style fee abstraction make it unusually suitable for programmable work settlement.
Accord is testnet-first and not certified for production mainnet use.
Mainnet writes remain blocked until signed audit manifests mark relevant scripts/contracts mainnetAllowed: true.
accord-protocol- specs, schemas, SDKs, conformance, rail adapters, and demos.accord-demos- runnable demos, when split from the monorepo later.
Accord Protocol is the open standard.
AgentAccord may build commercial hosted services on top of Accord, but the protocol, schemas, conformance tests, and reference implementations are open.
