Папка, pycache здесь совершенно не нужна.
Я уже сегодня видел код, очень сильно похожий на этот. Вы с кем то вместе работали?
Не забывайте про PEP8.

Код не зациклен. Один запуск = одно действие.

Сделал запись в справочнике и в качестве разделителя, указав пробел. Но при загрузке программа показала, что справочник пуст, но это не так. Возможно, вообще не стоит давать пользователю выбирать разделитель.
