EyeSaver - Eye Rest Reminder - Windows Application

Installation

  • Simply copy the program to your desired installation folder (no fixed location required).
  • Run it once (no administrator privileges needed).
  • The program will auto-install and launch automatically with every Windows startup.

Default Behavior

  • After 20 minutes of continuous computer usage:
    • Screen gradually dims over 2 minutes with a countdown timer.
    • After the rest period, the screen smoothly returns to normal.

Customization

  • Settings are stored in a simple .ini file (editable with Notepad or any text editor).
  • Changes apply instantly after saving (no program restart required).

Emergency Override

  • Press Ctrl + H to immediately cancel a dimmed screen.

Note: This program runs in the background without requiring elevated permissions.
