Whats the QR for

to scan and get all the details one would need to make a transfer. when sending money to a friend or paying for something at a shop.

Why make a QR standard?

so that Custom Client Devs and any other devs who make apps within the BML eco system can all use the same QR for transferring money. there already exists multiple private clients and the goal of this is to bring all custom clients to use the same QR so it would be compatible.

if the clients are private why bother making a public standard for QR

cause the moment a client goes public or alot of people start using it all other devs would jump into the hype train and it would become a huge mess where everyone makes their own QR design.

why focus on readability?

so that users who do not have apps that have adopted the QR standard can still scan and use the QR codes
