This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app.
Create a local env file:
cp env.example .env.localFor local development the default API base URL is http://127.0.0.1:8000.
For Vercel deployments, set the Project Environment Variable NEXT_PUBLIC_API_URL to:
https://ledgerly-backend-lau2.onrender.com
First, run the development server:
npm run dev
# or
yarn dev
# or
pnpm dev
# or
bun devOpen http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.
You can start editing the page by modifying app/page.tsx. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.
This project uses next/font to automatically optimize and load Geist, a new font family for Vercel.

The easiest way to deploy your Next.js app is to use the Vercel Platform from the creators of Next.js.
Make sure NEXT_PUBLIC_API_URL is set in your Vercel project settings (Environment Variables) so the frontend points at the correct backend.
