Changelog:

  • Updated to Godot version 4.7.
  • Renderer now defaults to DX12 rather than Vulkan. This should fix most of the broken texture issues that came with recent Nvidia and AMD driver updates.
  • Config files located in AppData/Roaming have been moved from "FRU Sim Beta" folder to "Waju Sims". As a result, all settings and shader caches have been reset. It is safe to delete the old "FRU Sim Beta" folder.
  • General UI and control settings are now shared with newest version of DSR Sim.
  • Cleaned up the UI. Strat and encounter specific settings now have their own menu, which can be opened by clicking the cogwheel in the top right.
  • Added an "Import Waymarks" option to the waymark menu. You should be able to paste Waymark data the same way you would in the Dalamud plugin and it will import those Waymaks in one of the Custom slots.
  • Updated the Waymark presets and added more descriptive names.
  • Updated player character models.
  • P5: Added correct model for Pandora, which was previously datamine protected.
  • Light Rampant: Fixed broken puddle assignments and logic for Mana/Ele strats.

Potential fix for texture issues with AMD driver versions 25.8.1 and 25.9.1. Uses DX12 renderer which may cause other graphical issues.

Note:

If you are seeing broken textures, typically on newer AMD or Nvidia drivers, you can try the DX12 version of the sim here.

New Additions (need testing):

  • Added Paradise Regained and Polarizing Strikes to Phase 5 (Pandora). You can select either of these or Fulgent Blade as a starting point, or practice all 3 in sequence. Currently this only supports the NAUR/LPDU/MUR strat (https://slides.com/ultiproject/frup5/scroll).
  • Added Mana DC strat support for Apoc. Credit to @WaterBoiledPizza.

UI Changes:

  • Most UI Elements can now be moved (Alt+Click) and resized (Alt+ScrollWheel). This can be rebound in control settings. Credit to @WorstAquaPlayer.
  • Improved Party List visuals.
  • Party List can now be reordered, with the option to keep player at top of list.
  • Window should now keep its position on reset, rather than resetting to center of screen.

Fixes:

  • UR: Fixed incorrect movements and debuffs for Med Fires on Grey-9 strat.
  • Darklit: Force Tether button should now work.

Known Issues:

  • Changing window size/resolution can sometimes push UI elements off the screen. If this happens, use the Reset UI button that appears at the top left while holding Alt.
  • The sim doesn't track Light/Dark debuffs on Paradise Regained or Polarizing Strikes. It only checks for the correct number of targets soaking each mechanic.
  • The Pandora model is unavailable due to datamine protection. If that changes in 7.2, I'll update the P5 model.

FRU Sim Beta v1.6.2 - Refulgent Blade

  • Added P5 Fulgent Blade mechanic. Rest of P5 to be added later.
  • Apoc: Moved Darkest Dance AoE hit earlier, to better line up with when it snapshots in game.

  • General: Added Reset keybind ('R' by default).
  • General: Debuff timers should now appear and expire more accurately.

FRU Sim v1.5.4 (Darklit Dragonsong)

This release adds Darklit Dragonsong. This is an early version following the NAUR strat and will likely have some bugs. Please let me know if you find any. Support for other strats and datacenters will be added later.

  • CT: Updated NAUR rewind positions to be closer to marker. Also updated post-rewind spread positions.
  • UR: Added GREY-9 Lineup option (JP lineup and 20s Supp/DPS fires are swapped).
  • Apoc: Added MUR Lineup option (Light party split with Panto adjust prio).

The new strat options have not been fully tested, so please let me know if you find any issues.

  • Darklit: Added support for Mami (EU) and Vertical Spread (JP) strats (needs testing).
  • Darklit: Bots will now always move towards the center line while tank is baiting jump. Cleaned up tank movement.
  • P4: Increased size of Fragment of Fate hitbox. Need more research/vods showing the exact size of their hitbox.
  • CT: Adjusted post-rewind spread positions.
  • Apoc: Added option to force swap the player. It does so by giving them the same Water timer as the lowest adjust prio in their group.
  • Apoc: Fixed Darkest Dance AoE hit to snapshot on the farthest player's position at the end of the cast. Note that in game, this ability does not line up well with its animation. This change should better reflect its actual timing, but may still need some adjusting.
  • Apoc: Fixed bug where tank did not bait Darkest Dance out far enough, causing party to get knocked into wall.
  • Apoc: Increased Water AoE size.
  • UR: Added missing Return debuff, which should accurately count down until Rewind Stun is applied.
  • General: Fixed bug with players getting stuck after rewind or knockback.
  • General: Fixed bug where you could avoid conal AoE's by jumping.

This version adds the Sextuple Apocalpyse mechanic. As with all early versions, there may be some bugs, particularly with positioning and adjustment prios. If you run into any issues, please let me know on discord.

This version also includes Light Rampant, Ultimate Relativity and Crystallize Time.

  • Added separate option for Freepoc (static) and Permaswap Apoc spread positions. LPDU/NAUR selection only affects the initial stack/spread positions, and you should be able to use any combination of these two options.

  • T1 now runs out to bait jump when set to LPDU prepositions. T2 will still bait it on NAUR.

  • Light Rampant: Fixed bug where orb telegraphs did not line up with AoE's.
  • Light Rampant: Added Elemental DC lineup option as per this pastebin. This will change the DPS lineup to M1>M2>R1>R2.
  • Apoc: Reverted back to T2 baiting for LPDU by default. There's now a separate option for T1 to soak, and works with either strat.
  • Added the ability to pause/unpause by pressing 'p'.

This version adds the Crystallize Time mechanic.

Currently it follows the NAUR Early Pop strat which can be found here. Support for late pop and knockback immune strats will be added later.

The post-rewind spread is currently role based, which may change once an established strat is chosen.

Note this is an early version and there are a lot of moving parts in this mechanic. There will almost certainly be some bugs I missed. If you find any issues please let me know on Discord.

This is a beta version of the Light Rampant module. There's only 1 strat currently supported (4/4 with E/W puddles)

  • Some systems aren't working fully.
  • Several fails checks are missing.
