To check out the progress:

1. git clone https://github.com/Veditum/postcards.git: makes a copy of this repo on your machine
2. cd postcards/
3. git checkout first-cut: Checks out the first-cut branch (main branch is called master)
4. open postcards.html

Next actions

• @iamasid to confirm the location of a postcard that is wrongly placed presently
  • @arunasank to update the code/data
• @iamasid to review the LICENSE
• @iamasid to review the work so far, and offer any critique he has, for the next few iterations.

I want to redesign the map to make it more stark - something like a white background, so all the data on it has a lot of emphasis, and so that the postcards stand out more. Also want to take some advice regarding the front end look from some good front-end engineer friends.

Just updated the lat-long for the one remaining image, and re-ordered the files in the html file. Now we can focus on:

1. Flight: so that it appears like a forward-backward movement when user scrolls.
2. Labels for locations of the postcard stories.
3. Short description for each postcard maybe.
4. Experimenting with map style .
