Problem

  • At Georgia Tech, when it comes to the Exam period, most of the students are struggling to get through the material needed for the test. The need of group study before the test becomes more and more transparent since many students believe that having a chance to prepare for the test with other people has significantly increased the performance of the test. The problem we are facing is the lack of the means to organize an efficient group for students to review the material for the test.

Solution/Technology

  • Current Solution
    • Students attend TA office hours and review together.
    • Schedule a temporary meeting on GroupMe.
    • Piazza website
  • Future Solution
    • A meeting platform/application where everyone can schedule study sessions for their classes or join others. This solution provides students with flexibility in both time and location when deciding their favorite study session.
