I would prefer this to be more concise - you can take out the part about __str__ methods and recognition of common amplitudes, and please mention the draw functions.

Good call — updated in 1c690f2. Trimmed it down and led with the Statevec.draw / DensityMatrix.draw methods (keeping the underlying statevec_to_str / density_matrix_to_str functions). Thanks!

Thanks! I think we are ready to merge as soon as the CI finishes running.

### Fixed

- #454, #481: Ensure `Pattern.minimize_space` only reduces max-space and does not increase it.
