Foolshand is a poker inspired card game, in the same vein as Big Two and Balatro.
The game is played with a standard deck of 52 cards, plus 3 jokers. You start by giving each player 5 cards. The game is divided into two options: Lay or Draw. If you choose to lay, you must lay one of these poker hands:

Pair (10 points) (2 cards of the same suit and/or rank)

Two Pair (20 points) (2 pairs)

Three Pair (30 points) (3 pairs)

Three of a Kind (30 points) (a pair, but with 3 cards)

Full House (40 points) (a three of a kind + a pair)

Fuller House (50 points) (two three of a kinds)

Straight (60 points) (5 cards in sequential order)

Straight Flush/Flush (70 p) (Straight Flush: 5 cards of the same suit in sequential order. Flush: 5 cards of the same suit)

Royal Flush (80 p) (an Ace, King, Queen, Jack, and 10 of the same suit)
You can also place “additional arguments.”
These are:

Fooled (P. × 2) (1 joker at the end of the hand)

Double Fooled (P. × 3) (2 jokers at the end of the hand)

Triple Fooled (P. × 4) (3 jokers at the end of the hand)

Aced (+10 p) (1 Ace at the end of the hand)

Double Aced (+20 p) (2 Aces at the end of the hand)

Triple Aced (+30 p) (3 Aces at the end of the hand)

Full Aced (+40 p) (All Aces at the end of the hand)
(Important! If the played hand contains an Ace, and the additional argument is one of the “Aced” options, then the Aced only counts for that specific argument. Example: If you play a royal flush with the other Aces as additional arguments, it is a Triple Aced Royal Flush, not a Full Aced)
You can also draw. If you decide to draw, you take 5 cards of the pile.
The goal is to get as many points at the end.
If the draw-pile is empty, and you can't draw anymore, then you fold; you put your cards in front of you on the table, open, so everyone can see, and you stop playing.
Foolshand is a game that (as stated previously) can be played with a standard 52-card deck, with an additional 3 jokers. But, while you can play it in real life, you can also play solo rounds online!
