What changed

Adds a public, model-neutral research track separating evidential support from durable historical anchoring.

The track includes:

  • a four-layer research framing: ground source, evidence method, independent reproduction, and durable history;
  • five falsification experiments testing immutable falsehood, unanchored reproduction, mutation detection, copy independence, and preserved uncertainty;
  • a provider-neutral comparison plan for Git, signed releases, transparency logs, Bitcoin/OpenTimestamps, and EVM L2 anchors;
  • a proposed portable durable-history receipt schema.

Claim boundary

The materials are explicitly labeled proposed and unvalidated. They state that anchoring can establish historical commitment to exact bytes, but cannot prove truth, completeness, independence, safety, novelty, or authorization.

The private AI runner and internal execution plan are not included.

Validation

  • python3 -m json.tool research/durable-history/RECEIPT-SCHEMA.json
  • python3 -m unittest tests.test_knowledge_ledger_program tests.test_evidence_alignment
  • 14 tests pass
  • terminology/privacy audit and git diff --check pass
