Some guidelines for using brand resources of the March For Science Chicago.
The organization is officially known as March For Science Chicago
Science March ChicagoThe March For Science Of ChicagoChicago March for Science
The electron shell logo consists of two parts: the blue electron shells (#68B6E5) and the red Chicago star (#CA2127). If the single color logo is used it should be greyscale ( #000000, #2B2B2B, #5B5B5B, #FFFFFF).
The electron shells are rotated at 120 degree increments from the vertical origin. The stroke is not uniform, and should be wider at the narrow curves of the shell ellipse.
The Chicago star should have 6 points with angles of 36˚. The height of the star should be 2/3 the interior space of the electron shell intersection.
The Chicago logo is distinct from the national brand in the following ways: The Chicago star replaces the globe. The 'electrons' are at the 2, 6, and 10 o'clock positions. The stroke on the shells is narrower. The shell paths are rounded at the openings. This logo may be modified to represent other marches (See March For Science Indianapolis, but it may not be modified to represent March For Science Chicago .
Like the national March For Science (DC), our typeface is Montserrat.

These assets are to be used and disseminated freely, but we would also like you to take a moment to consider the environment in your efforts to spread the word about the march. A well placed poster might be better than a stack of fliers, just as an email or share on social media might be better than a poster.
If you have questions regarding tone and content, please refer to our Volunteer Handbook and/or Press Kit. Or contact us directly at info@sciencemarchchicago.org, and feel free to reach out to our design team for questions and help with styling and asset use.
