M.Sc. Computer Science (AI) @ RWTH Aachen · AI Engineer @ Mercedes-Benz AG

I build things at the intersection of applied AI and real engineering problems; production agents, RAG systems, HPC-scale NLP pipelines, and the occasional seat snatcher.

Currently working on two fronts: pushing agentic AI into industrial software development at Mercedes-Benz, and finishing my master's in AI at RWTH Aachen.

What I'm working on

EmbedAtlas (in progress): A GUI tool for the full embedding workflow; dataset ingestion, embedding generation, RAG creation, semantic search, and interactive dimensionality reduction visualizations (PCA, UMAP, t-SNE) via Plotly. Everything in a few clicks.

Projects

  • Artifaix: AI-powered research management platform with iterative LLM feedback loops, MapReduce document processing, vector search, and a FastAPI/React microservice architecture.
  • rwth-seat-snatcher: Selenium automation for RWTH library seat reservations. Ruthlessly practical.
  • typing-test-cli: Terminal typing test with Levenshtein-distance accuracy scoring.
  • maptoposter: Forked and contributed to; turns city maps into minimalist print posters.

Background

  • Analyzed 6.1 TB of multilingual text embeddings across 24 languages for my bachelor's thesis at RWTH Aachen, Forschungszentrum Jülich, and WestAI, finding that mean embeddings cluster by linguistic family rather than topic
  • Built HPC embedding pipelines at Jülich Supercomputing Centre for Teuken-7B, Germany's first open LLM
  • Configured OSPF, BGP, RPKI, VLANs across 28 virtual routers during a network engineering internship
  • Written low-level C firmware for ATMega644 embedded systems
