Greywater is a custom embedded control and automation PCB designed for intelligent fluid handling, pumping, and monitoring applications. Built around an ESP32 microcontroller, the system serves as a centralized controller for managing pumps, valves, sensors, and auxiliary devices while enabling future integration with wireless communication and IoT-based monitoring platforms.
The board incorporates dedicated interfaces for actuator control, power regulation, and peripheral connectivity, allowing reliable operation in environments requiring automated liquid transfer and process control. Relay outputs provide switching capabilities for high-power loads, while multiple GPIO expansion headers support the integration of additional sensors and control modules.
Key features include:
- ESP32-S3-based control architecture for real-time monitoring and automation.
- Relay-controlled outputs for switching pumps, valves, and external electrical loads.
- Integrated power management circuitry with onboard voltage regulation and protection components.
- Multiple expansion headers for sensor inputs, communication peripherals, and future subsystem integration.
- Terminal block interfaces for robust field wiring and deployment.
- Designed in KiCAD with a focus on modularity, reliability, and ease of maintenance.
The Greywater system was developed as a scalable embedded platform capable of supporting automated fluid management workflows, environmental monitoring, and smart control applications while maintaining low power consumption and reliable field operation.
