The fictional universe and concept is based on an original story published in the FAR CRY literary magazine (Greenfield, MA) around 2014 or so. It is reprinted with the author's permission. Most of the next 100 pages were written in a brewpub in Astoria, while waiting several days for a vintage Acura Integra to get repaired.

Please note that this is not currently an active project. Several reasons, but most immediately... this future was originally intended to be a dystopia. Every time the author goes back and adds more to the story, present day reality gets a little bit worse. The author is occasionally superstitious.

Not Dorian Gray superstitious, but you can see the parallels.
