Just double‑check the original motivation for this implementation. As I understand it, the goal was to ensure we don’t keep orphaned records in esdl_time_series_info when the corresponding time series in InfluxDB has already been removed for whatever reason.
I agree with disabling it.
In hindsight, this is a very hidden and complex circular flow in a decoupled system. It’s easy to overlook, and we should be more careful about it in future maintenance or migration work.
