  • Updated how characters auto-scale to match the new scaling formula

  • Fixed the shop guys still yapping too much if you bought an AP item from them
  • Fixed "The the mani mani statue"
  • Fixed Energylink being ignored if your item queue was paused due to lack of space
  • Fixed the Defense Spray having bugged help text in extended psi shuffle
  • Fixed some memory corruption bugs when buying Poo in a shop and his starting item is a Photograph

New Settings

  • Add Boss Keys
    • Adds a key for every boss door (except the non-final nest of evil hallways) that you are required to find to open the door.
    • Excluded Boss Keys allows you to specify specific doors you DON'T want to be locked
  • Added Deathlink support
  • Shuffle Enemy Drops
    • Randomizes what items enemies drop and the drop rates of those items.
  • Randomize Shop Items
    • Randomizes what items and skills can be found in the shop. Skills in the shop have random prices. You are guaranteed to have one subweapon in the shop for Mental Training 1, and a claymore for breaking walls, but no other shop purchases are necessary for logic. The shop points shop is untouched.
  • Open Throne
    • Opens the throne room without having to clear your Dracula requirement, or even have Dracula as the goal. The requirement check is on Dracula's boss door instead.

Changes

  • Grinding for beehives is no longer logical
  • Hands of the Clock now set to sphere 1 since it just requires you to play at 12
  • Numerous Spells were added to logic for killing the Dodo
  • Tower of Death motorcycle secret now in logic with Puppet + stone of flight
  • You now start with a Return Gem in addition to the Magical Ticket which will warp you back to the starting room of whichever Portrait you're in
  • The bottom of Burnt Paradise is now in logic without high mobility
  • Equipment from the server now plays the correct notification sound

Fixes

  • Fixed a rare edge of case of quests with AP items not showing the name in Wind's menu
  • Fixed the quest for Spinning Art and Martial Art not completing if you had their respective relics activated

  • Unlock All Quests
    • Unlocks all quests by default
  • Randomize Quest Rewards
    • ...Randomizes quest rewards. You can manually choose which quests you want to be randomized.
  • Excluded Quests
    • Used with Randomized quests, this will force the specified quests to be randomized to a filler item for you
  • Randomize Spell Charge Time
    • Randomizes the charge timer for non-important spells
  • Start with Call Cube
    • Allows starting with Call Cube
  • Portrait Shuffle has been divided into Split and Full. Full retains the old behavior and shuffles all portraits, Split shuffles the regular and remix portraits separately

Changes

  • Quests now disappear from the quest list after accepting them. This means you can have more than 5 active quests at a time.
  • Quest rewards can no longer be generated as filler items and will now only be added to the pool if its respective quest is Randomized
  • You can now hold X to see what the reward for a Quest is
  • You can now choose the difficulty on the file select
  • Added starting inventory from pool
  • The Nest of Evil quest is now marked as clear once the underground passageway is opened
  • You can open the Quest guide from the menu without having talked to Wind
  • The Nest of Evil quest in the Quest guide now tells you how many Portraits you need to open the underground passage
  • The Stat-boost quests have been reduced to only having 50 of the stat instead of 100
  • A-rank and S-rank hunter have been lowered to 500 and 1000 kills
  • Quests requiring you to own an item now require you to have owned the item at all instead of having it in your inventory. (preventing some from becoming impossible)
  • Bible, Holy Water, and Cross now take 1,000 SP to master instead of 2,000
  • Walking into the Sisters fight without Sanctuary will now give a vague hint for where Sanctuary can be found.
  • Non-Cube relics now use bespoke sprites

Fixes

  • Fixed the True Vampire Killer not updating your attack stat if it was autoequipped
  • Fixed missing rule on the Burnt Paradise Lower Vertical Hall
  • Fixed Nest of Evil portraits always getting lowered to 7 if it was set to 8
  • Fixed some dead pixels on shuffled forgotten city's portrait
  • Forest of Doom Right Atrium East Square Right now properly assigned to the cave instead of the main area
  • Fixed a vanilla bug where the tower elevator doors wouldn't reset their collision during a soft-reset
  • Fixed a vanilla bug where Great Sage would also check if you owned Rocket Slash/Aura blast despite not being spells

  • Stronger Glove
    • Allows the Strength Glove to push the grave and rusted blocks (but not the train) by itself without needing Push + Call
  • One-Screen Mode
    • Allows the game to be played entirely from the bottom screen. Select opens the map.
  • Portrait Shuffle
    • Randomizes Portraits amongst each other. The portrait requirement for Nest of Evil unlocks the underground passage where Nest normally is.
    • The Nest of Evil state setting will affect the Nest of Evil itself, not its shuffled portrait
  • SP Multiplier
    • Multiplies the amount of SP enemies drop

Changes

  • Charlotte is now dismissed after the Forest of Doom portrait scene if you don't have Call Cube
  • Charlotte is now dismissed after Brauner if you don't have Call Cube
  • Charlotte is now dismissed during the True Dracula cutscene if you don't have Call
  • Magus Ring is now classed as Useful instead of filler
  • Your first skill now autoequips as usual when received from quests or the server
  • You can no longer receive items in the middle of a Warp transition
  • Added unique text for defeating Brauner during Brauner goal
  • The Sisters fight now logically requires you to have Skill or Call
  • Removed Whip Skill 2 from the base item pool
  • You can now Dismiss your partner even if you don't have Call active
  • Added location groups for major areas
  • Add proper doc pages

  • Fixed tall map rooms not marking the bottom tile as explored
  • Fixed Reveal Map not revealing all of Dark Academy
  • Fixed the Barrier cutscene breaking some things after the barrier was removed
  • Fixed the City of Haze cart secret room not logically being after the cart ride
  • Fixed money popups staying on the screen for a really long time

  • Fixed the items in the Dark Academy west building not being properly placed

  • Fixed the bug where skipping Death's cutscene softlocks you
  • Pre-game logos are skipped
  • Items and skills over 9 can be picked up
  • The drawbridge is always lowered
  • You start with and have infinite use Magical Tickets that can be used to warp to the shop.
  • The Forest of Doom portrait requires you to have Stella's Locket instead of showing it to Wind
  • The MP Max up check in Forest of Doom now has a unique flag and can be collected properly
  • Removed duplicate shoes in Sandy Grave
  • Patched the glitch menu memory corruption bug
  • Patched the suspend glitch
  • The passage leading to the Nest of Evil now checks X portraits clear instead of some quest flag
  • Added a platform below the elevator room check

Known Issues

  • Receiving numerous items may cause a glitchy popup to stay on screen. I have been unable to replicate this, please let me know if you have any information
