I am a recent graduate of the Master's in Interdisciplinary Data Science program at Duke University.
- An article with the Department of Political Science analyzing social media data on emerging trends in youth political participation and political polarization
- Implementing AI-driven search (RAG) and BERT-based topic modeling and named entity recognition for text analysis and retrieval
- Data Engineering and DevOps (Creating ETL workflows, implementing CI/CD pipelines, utilizing GitHub Actions)
- Statistical Modeling in R & Python (tidyverse, multiple linear regression, t-tests, and A/B testing)
- I am currently working as a Senior Consultant (Data Science & Data Engineering) building scalable ETL pipelines in Python and SQL to guide philanthropic spending and member engagement programs for national non-profits.
- I previously spent five years as a Researcher and Data Analyst at the Center for Information & Research on Civic Learning and Engagement (CIRCLE) at the Jonathan M. Tisch College of Civic Life. At CIRCLE, I evaluated non-partisan voter registration campaigns using R and Tableau to inform non-profit investment. I also designed national surveys to investigate youth political attitudes and political participation among American youth.
- Prior to getting involved in research, I led a non-partisan voter education initiative to engage college students at Tufts University. I have also led outdoor leadership and backpacking programs for youth in New England.
- My undergraduate majors were Mandarin Chinese Language & Literature and International Relations! I've spent time working and studying in Hangzhou, Beijing, and Xi'an. I love to connect with others over travel, food, the outdoors.
- I am a huge rugby union fan. I also support the Baltimore Ravens and Baltimore Orioles!
