🌊 Dive Weather App - Find the Perfect Dive Conditions! (Work in Progress)
- Develop a tool to help divers assess real-time diving conditions based on marine weather data.
- Scrape a dataset of over 10,000 dive sites from a website with a complex nesting structure, making it a challenging large-scale web scraping project.
- Use PostgreSQL and PG Search for efficient searching by dive site name or country.
- Fetch real-time marine weather data (wave height, wave period, wind, currents, and more) to provide a dive condition rating.
- Currently displays search results in a table, with plans for a more visually engaging, color-coded display.
- Future improvements include the ability to select dive sites on a map instead of searching manually.
