The Chevrolet Bolt EV has gone through two main generations:
- First Generation (2017-2023): The original Bolt EV was introduced as one of the first long-range, affordable electric vehicles. It featured a 65 kWh lithium-ion battery pack delivering an EPA-estimated range of 238 miles, with the 2020 model year receiving a range boost to 259 miles. The electric motor produces 200 hp (150 kW) and 266 lb-ft of torque. Notable features include a spacious interior despite compact exterior dimensions, one-pedal driving capability, and a comprehensive infotainment system.
