Claude Code's builtin /export command only shows activity since the most recent context compaction, and uses a bespoke nonstandard format. This Claude Code Log tool can produce a Markdown file of an entire conversation, and also has other features.

Closing because this software turned out to be lower quality than I was hoping it would be. In addition to my PRs daaain/claude-code-log#195 and daaain/claude-code-log#196 from a couple weeks ago, it turns out there are a bunch more usability issues (and I'm guessing there's a long tail beyond this):

• --tui silently ignores --output/--format and has no "export to path" action daaain/claude-code-log#220
• --output to an existing file silently skips regeneration and keeps stale content daaain/claude-code-log#221
• Infer output format from --output file extension daaain/claude-code-log#222
• Support writing to stdout (-o - / /dev/stdout): currently hangs, and progress goes to stdout daaain/claude-code-log#223
