The README contains a placeholder ('[Add your license information here]')
but no LICENSE file exists. The git history of this codebase (originally
projnanda/nanda-index, transferred 2025-07-18) shows clear MIT licensing
intent. This PR formalizes that by adding the standard MIT LICENSE text.
