The state-2 check required twoCount > 100, but gc-pause.dat is a finite one-shot replay yielding only ~83 events per id. Switching to ds3 cancels and restarts the "two" subscription, so it gets a single fresh replay. Whether it crossed 100 depended on how many ds2 "two" events landed before the switch -- a race that left the test stuck in state 2 until the 60s timeout. Lower the threshold to 50, comfortably within one replay.
Bump the Scala 3 cross-compile target and the matching CI matrix value in pr.yml so the workflow builds against the declared cross version.
