This repository is part of the Extreme Rainfall Monitoring Network (ERMN) campaign. We open source all the developments in ERMN, including programmes that collect different gauge data and store them in influxdb (see gauges folder). You can also find API and example scirpts to acquire data (see examples folder).
All gauges are installed on the roof top of the Civil Engineering Research Building (CERB) in National Taiwan University.

How to access data from our server.

Please refer to the examples folder. In this Influxdb official tutorial, there is a complete tutorial showing how to query data from influxdb.

Gauges information

Here is the list of the gauges, and the measurement name in each bucket.

    • machine status

      These measurements include some basic information of the gauge.

      Field keys:

      Left sensor head temperature
      Right sensor head temperature
      Power supply voltage
      Sensor head heating current
      Sensor status
      Signal amplitude of laser strip
      Temperature PCB
      Temperature in the sensor housing
      
    • raw_volume

      This measurement represents the volumn equivalent diameter of each diameter class.
      There are in total 32 diameter classes.

      Field key:

      Volume eq. diameter

      Diameter Class: 
        range: 1, 2, ..., 32
      
    • raw_speed

      This measurement represents the speed of each speed class.
      There are in total 32 diameter classes possible.

      This measurement represents the count of particles within a given diameter and speed class.

      These measurements include the accumulated rain (in mm) since the beginnning.
