L1 Trigger Algorithms

All L1 trigger algorithms have been tested on 2014 data (to see details click here).

The following trigger algorithms (except for LAV) have been implemented and deployed within the NA62 PC-farm framework during 2015 NA62 run:

• KTAG sector multiplicity
• CHOD hit multiplicity
• RICH hit multiplicity
• RICH hit spread
• LAV hit multiplicity

The effect of L1 trigger algorithms on 2015 data can be seen from:

• Run 2712 (bursts 0-66 only) with:
• KTAG-CHOD-RICH trigger algorithms enabled.
• NA62 PC-farm executed in cutting mode and only events with !KTAG && !CHOD && !RICH being rejected.
• the verdicts of KTAG-CHOD-RICH trigger algorithms recorded in L1 trigger type.
• Run 2751 (from burst 17) for KTAG L1 trigger algorithm executed in Flagging mode.
