- Download
MoraNote-<version>-<arch>.dmgfrom Releases. - Open the DMG and drag MoraNote into Applications.
- First launch: right-click the app → Open (the build is ad-hoc signed), then confirm.
Requires macOS 11.0 (Big Sur) or later. Universal/Apple Silicon (
arm64) and Intel (x86_64) builds are produced from source via the packaging script below.

MoraNote-<version>-windows-<arch>.zip(portable) or...-setup.exe(installer) from Releases. - Portable: unzip anywhere and run
MoraNote.exe(keep the bundledassets/folder next to the exe). - Installer: run the Setup and follow the wizard.
Requires Windows 10/11 (64-bit).
- Rust (stable) via rustup. The repo pins a toolchain in
rust-toolchain.toml. - macOS: Xcode Command Line Tools (
xcode-select --install). - Windows: the MSVC build tools (Visual Studio Build Tools / "Desktop development with C++").
- Optional — for rich export formats (Word, EPUB, LaTeX, etc.): install Pandoc. HTML/PDF/PNG/JPEG export work without it.
